We've been doing our best to get Infinite Studios up and running to its full potential. This company has taken on many different phases since its inception in September of 2018. From starting off in a small 900 sq. ft. warehouse in Huntington Beach with nothing but the embroidery machine sitting inside, to now having 2,250 sq. ft. and over 15 different machines inside to handle whatever comes our way.
Starting this business at the end of 2018 without knowing what was in front of us in 2020, has become quite the story. This company was started by our owner Cody Klimper when he had no current job or income, and had left his previous employer to start this company. With no money in the bank, living off of credit cards, and pulling out a loan to put a down payment on the machine and the warehouse with zero knowledge of how to actually do embroidery, it's amazing to see what its become.
The company first started off branded as "Klimp's Embroidery" as that is all we had done at the time, and we wanted people to have an exact picture of what we did. It then became Klimp's Customs briefly while still in Southern California, while we were helping clients create custom clothing cut and sew style in the Los Angeles area while also still doing embroidery. It then became kytū Manufacturing to piggy back off of the in-house brand kytū, so that we could have the "Amazon Model" like Amazon Prime, Amazon Video, Amazon Fresh, etc. We quickly realized that model wasn't working for us while the brand was full fledged, because people continually tagged the wrong company for whatever they were trying to tag us for. They would tag the brand when they got embroidery work done, or tag the manufacturing when they were rocking the brand. So, after some thought, the name Infinite Studios was born.
The meaning behind Infinite Studios, came from the want to always have that Homey welcoming vibe so that you didn't feel you were talking to a corporation, as the name Manufacturing did. Then Infinite, because the possibilities had become infinite now that we had amassed so many machines with plans to invest in and purchase more as quickly as we can.
This company stands by the fact that we will never say no to a job. Whether it's 1 unit or 1,000 units and beyond, we will take on any job with the same amount of compassion and effort. We love to be challenged. If it is something we have never done, we will be open and honest in telling you so, and do our best to create something beyond your wildest dreams, while also embracing this opportunity to learn and grow our skillset.
This is just the beginning of the final, yet ever-growing, chapter of what is now known as Infinite Studios. We have never had our company website to showcase everything we are capable of and to create an in-house merch brand to display just that as well. We are extremely excited to have this going, with every intention to keep it growing and to start building our own community, and giving back to the ones around us.
